PANTHERS SET FOR SCOTTISH CONFERENCE LEAGUEEasterhouse Panthers will be dropping their Junior status and will be renamed Amateur Rugby League Football Club following the anounement the Panthers will be forming a senior squad to play in the Scottish Conference League.
Training for the new squad will start on Wednesday 18th February 04 in preparation for the conference which is due to kick off at the end of April.

NEW JUNIOR TEAM LAUNCHED
The Panthers have now introduced another junior team to compliment the P6/7, S1, S2 and S2 girl’s teams.
The main focus of the club has been the community delivery to P4/5’s which has now raised enough interest for the club to accommodate this age group.
Training for the P4/5’s is every Thursday for 6:30pm to 7:30pm and every Sunday from 12noon till 1pm. All P4/5’s are welcome, friendlies have been set up and the season is due to start in April.
PANTHERS PILOT SCHOOL CLUB LINK PROGRAMME
Easterhouse Panthers will launch the pilot of the school club programme at St. Andrew’s Secondary School on Thursday 12th February 04.
The launch will start with twenty of the schools 4th and 5th year pupils taking the Junior Rugby League Organiser Award. The Award is designed to introduce young adults, aged fifteen and over, to coaching, match officiating and festival organisation.
Once the course is complete the candidates will be given the opportunity to assist at the club as well as assist in the delivery of community programmes providing a direct link to the club.
Once the candidates turn sixteen they will be given the opportunity of furthering their qualifications with the National Governing Bodies Coach and Match Officials programme.
